Services provided by the mental health counsellors are aimed at mild to moderate mental health issues and include:

  • Comprehensive individual, couple or family mental health assessment
  • Mental Health treatment and follow-up as determined in consultation with you and your primary care practitioner
  • Liaison with the broader mental health system to ensure continuity of care for patients requiring more intensive intervention
  • Onsite assessment and consultation by a psychiatrist as requested by the physician and mental health counsellor

  • Self Management Skills
  • Healthy You - Weight Management
  • Feelings After Birth - a group for women with post-partum depression run as needed in conjunction with the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health Unit
  • Post-partum Dads
  • Stress Management
  • Effective Parenting
  • Bullying in the Workplace
  • School Bullying Prevention - in conjunction with the Centre Wellington High School
  • Mindful Meditation
  • Mood and Food
